The Bollywood star looked stunning in a black off-shoulder gown. She left everyone mesmerized with her Academy Awards look. For that matter, when Deepika introduced Naatu Naatu to be the first song from an Indian production to be nominated at the Oscars, everyone cheered together. A glimpse of the same has gone viral on social media. And Kangana Ranaut has penned an appreciation tweet for DP.

Kangana Ranaut took to her Twitter handle and lauded Deepika for making the nation proud. “How beautiful @deepikapadukone looks, not easy to stand there holding entire nation together, carrying its image, reputation on those delicate shoulders and speaking so graciously and confidently. Deepika stands tall as a testimony to the fact that Indian women are the best (sic),” she wrote.
