Salman Khan fans NOT allowed to gather outside actor’s house. Police step up security post death threat

Salman Khan’s fans will no longer be able to gather outside the actor’s house to catch a glimpse of the star. Following the threat email, Mumbai Police has beefed up security outside his house.

Security outside Salman Khan’s house was beefed up after the superstar received a threatening email. Following the fresh threat to Salman Khan, the Bandra Police registered a case under sections 506(2), 120(b) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code on March 19. Post the threat, Mumbai Police has imposed restrictions on fans of the actor.

Coming up as the new restrictions, Salman Khan fans can no longer stand or gather outside the actor’s house, as per PTI. According to a report in Hindustan Times, two assistant police inspectors and 8-10 constables have been locked in to be part of Salman Khan’s security. They have also registered an FIR against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his aide Goldy Brar.

The threat mail was sent on March 18 to Prashant Gunjalkar, who is a close associate of Salman Khan. The sender was revealed to be one Rohit Garg. Post the email, the actor’s team then filed a police complaint. The complaint alleged that the e-mail from Rohit Garg said that gangster Goldy Brar wanted to talk to Salman Khan.

The email referred to a recent interview of Lawrence Bishnoi, where he said that killing Salman Khan was the goal of his life. “Goldy Brar wants to speak to your boss (Salman Khan). He must have seen the interview (of Bishnoi), and if he hasn’t, then make him watch it. If he wants the matter to be closed, then let him speak (to Goldy Brar). If he wants to speak face-to-face, then let us know. This time we informed you on time, next time you will only be shocked,” the e-mail, accessed by India Today, read in Hindi.

Meanwhile, the actor is prepping for the release of his upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The film is slated to release in theatres on April 21. The actor will be seen alongside Katrina Kaif in Tiger 3, the third part of the Tiger franchise. The spy-thriller is directed by Maneesh Sharma. It is set to open in theatres this Diwali.
