By India Today Entertainment Desk: It’s a Take 2 in life for both Dalljiet Kaur and her hubby, Nikhil Patel. The duo got married on March 18 and is enjoying their honeymoon to the fullest. The couple set goals after they got similar tattoos on their legs. However, a part of their tattoo on legs has an Urdu word, which didn’t go down well with a section of netizens. While some trolled them, others backed the newlyweds.

Dalljiet Kaur and Nikhil Patel had an intimate wedding, with their families and close friends in attendance. Soon after, they jetted off for their honeymoon. The duo have now set couple goals by inking similar tattoos. It has a clapboard which marks the start of something new, followed by the Urdu word ‘maktub’, which means ‘it had to happen.’ The words ‘Take 2’ (indicating their second stint in marriage) and a date ‘07/09/22’ was also mentioned, which probably denoted the first day they met in Dubai. However, they got trolled for the same.

Dalljiet Kaur and Nikhil Patel inking an Urdu word on their legs didn’t go down well with a section of netizens. They trolled them with comments such as “Urdu me q likha h (sic)”, “Pair me Urdu se kyu likha hai (sic)”, “Bhai photo mai sb Thk hai but leg mai Arabic word mai name likha hai wo galat hai (sic)”, “Pair ki upar urdu me tattoo kyu kiya.i against (sic)”, and others.

However, a section of netizens also backed the newlyweds. One described the meaning of the Urdu word on their legs. The user wrote, “For those who are asking what’s written in the tattoo, the word is MAKTUB! It is a word in Arabic that means “it was already written” or “it had to happen”. This word is considered a synonym for “destiny”, because it expresses something that was predestined or an event that was already “written in the stars” (sic).”

Another posted, “O hello chill everyone ‘urdu is just a language’ she didnt unrespectful take it as language …. Usne koi religion ki insult nahi ki hai….. Language is language english hindi urdu arabic etc…. Itna overreact na kare….. Koi religios cheez likhi hoti tb matter krta (sic).”
