By Arvind Ojha: A 17-year-old girl was attacked by an American Bully in Delhi on March 29. According to a statement by the Delhi Police, the girl sustained injuries in the dog attack and was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital in the national capital.
The incident was reported from the Neb Sarai area, in South Delhi.
Commenting on the incident, the police said a case against the dog owner was filed at Neb Sarai Police station, under IPC section 289 (Negligent conduct with respect to animal) and the matter is being investigated.
The doctors at the hospital also confirmed the injuries were due to a dog bite, the police said.
Meanwhile, the injured girl told police that on March 29, she had gone onto the terrace of her building, where the top-floor resident Maan Singh was also present with her pet dog – an American bully.
In yet another case of dog bite, a teenage girl was admitted to Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital after she was attacked by an American Bully dog. The police have booked the owner of the dog.
